Itinerary Details
DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Leave Arusha Town soon for Tarangire National Park. Lured by its winding river over the dry season, herds of animals pour in to this park which boasts the highest recorded number of breeding species for any habitat in the world. The park boasts a huge elephant population, Rolling hills and open savannah dotted with the majestic “upside down” baobab trees, believed by the Maasai to be the first tree of creation, offers a picturesque background. Dinner & Overnight Tarangire safari lodge or Sopa lodge
DAY 2: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA – LAKE MANYARA
A full day in the Ngorongoro Crater. There is a very high possibility of spotting the big 5 in one day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard. Lunch will take place at the picnic site at the crater floor. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha.
